The vivid green in the pond water is caused by the alga Chara connivens and Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium). The oxygen they produce is welcome to the many Backswimmers (Notonecta undulata) which are also still active. The white cloud in the water is exactly that: a reflection of a cloud in the sky.

El verde vivo en el agua del estanque es causado por el alga Chara connivens y Poleo-menta (Mentha pulegium). El oxígeno que producen será bienvenido para los muchos Garapitos (Notonecta undulata) que también están todavía activos. La nube blanca en el agua es exactamente eso: el reflejo de una nube en el cielo.
