Colourful winter

This winter is very wet all over Spain but the vegetation in the zone is still remarkably colourful and the humidity seems to deepen the colours even further. It is now the time for taking care of fences, hedges and pruning. At the back in the image the pruned vine and quince tree, in front the apple tree. The fluorescent green curly kale on the left has suffered the necessary subzero temperatures and tastes fine now.

El invierno esta muy humedo por toda España pero la vegetación en la zona esta todavía llena de color y la humedad parece intensificar los colores incluso mas. Es la temporada de cuidar a las vallas, setos y la poda. Al fondo del imagen la parra podada y el membrillero, en primer plano el manzano podado. La col rizada de un color verde fluorescente a la izquierda ya ha sufrido las heladas necesarias y tiene un sabor estupendo.
