For the succulent vegetation on the green roof we need a layer of about 6cm soil, which corresponds to some 5 tons of material. This layer goes on top of the white geotextile clothing, which covers knobbed rolls of HDPE. These rolls take care of drainage and protect the EPDM sheet underneath.
We used the topsoil of the same excavated site which had been put apart for this purpose. Angel with his tractor did the job in an hour.
One day later the cordstraps were hanging loosely from the walls because of the weight and I had to tense them again.

Para la vegetacion suculenta del tejado verde necesitamos una capa de 6cm de tierra, que corresponde a unas 5 toneladas de material. Esta capa va encima de un tejido de geotextil, que esta encima de una lamina drenante de HDPE con nódulos. Esta lamina protege tambien la lona impermeable de EPDM abajo.
Utilizamos la primera capa de la tierra excavada en el mismo sitio, que habíamos puesto aparte para este fin. Angel con su tractor hizo el trabajo en una hora.
Un dia después los flejes de cordstrap ya colgaban sueltos por el peso y tuve que tensarlos de nuevo.
