The filter pond which receives the grey water from the kitchen sink, the washbasin and the occasional cold shower (we usually have solar showers inside the greenhouse) is doing fine and can almost not be distinguished in the vegetation. Especially Mentha pulegium and Lythrum salicaria are thriving and flowering, attracting loads of insects. There are almost no detectable bad smells and mosquitos are absent as the level of the water never gets to the surface, at least during these summer months. The planted Iris pseudacorus and the spontaneous Juncus effusus which were growing well in the beginning have now more difficulty to survive.

El estanque filtro que recibe el agua del fregadero, el lavabo y alguna ducha de agua fria (normalmente tomamos duchas 'solares' en el invernadero) está tirando bien y casi no puede distinguirse en la vegetación. Sobre todo Mentha pulegium y Lythrum salicaria tiran y florecen, atrayendo montones de insectos. Apenas se puede detectar algún mal olor y mosquitos están ausentes porque el nivel del agua no llega a la superficie, por lo menos durante estos meses de verano. La Iris pseudacorus, plantada, y la espontaneo Juncus effusus que crecieron bien en el principio tienen ahora más dificultades de sobrevivir.
