Finished earthen floor

English.
After applying 4 layers of linseed oil with increasing percentages of turpentine, the earthen floor is finished. The colour is a nice warm matte brown and the surface is quite flat and smooth although not perfectly regular, which gives it a not unwelcome rustic feel. It is quite hard but at the same time quite porous, which makes it somewhat difficult to maintain clean. For example the application of a third and final layer of lime wash on the walls caused some whites stains which were difficult to erase.
It is not completely watertight and to achieve this several layers with wax are needed, but for the moment I will do without them.
The electric wall sockets could be firmly attached to the wooden OSB boards of the wall on which the straw bales rest.
