The new wing is partly sunk into the soil and precautions will have to be taken against humidity. Concrete blocks and mortar together with waterproof EPDM sheet is then the most practical choice albeit not the most ecological one. The concrete blocks rest on a base layer of 5 cm concrete, reinforced with iron bars. This concrete block structure will get as high as the depth of the trench (120cm) to avoid contact between the straw bales and the soil.

La nueva ala esta parcialmente metida en el suelo y hay que tomar medidas contra la humedad. Los bloques de hormigón con mortero y laminas impermeables de EPDM son la solución mas practica aunque no la mas ecológica. Los bloques de hormigón descansan sobre una solera de 5 cm de hormigón, armado con barras de hierro. Esta estructura llega tan alto como la profundidad de la zanja (120cm) para evitar el contacto entre las balas de paja y el suelo.
