The reason we decided to continue to build an extra wing and to repeat the same construction method is that this first building, the garden house, has turned out so well: very stable (evidenced by the absence of cracks in the delicate lime wash layer on the interior walls) and very comfortable. The insulation of the 55cm thick straw bale walls is formidable and also the humidity regulation, often neglected, is very good.

La razon por la que decidimos seguir construyendo y repetir el mismo método de construcción es que la primera edificación, la caseta, ha salido tan bien: muy estable (comprobado por la ausencia de fisuras en la delicada capa de cal en las paredes interiores) y muy confortable. El aislamiento de los muros de balas de paja de 55cm es impresionante y también la regulación de la humedad, a menudo desconsiderada, es muy buena.
