The first layer of plaster, a mix of clayey soil and straw, is applied on the interior wall. The absence of sand causes some minor cracks which the next layer (with sand) will easily fill up.
The wood of the window and door boxes needs special treatment as clay doesn`t stick well on wood: geotextile cloth with chicken wire fixed with staples. Clay sticks well on metal.
The two layers of OSB board between the straw bales and the adobe wall offer a nice opportunity to fix electric cables and wall sockets.

La primera capa de revoco, una mezcla de tierra arcillosa y paja, esta aplicada sobre la pared interior. La ausencia de arena causa algunas grietas menores que la capa siguiente (con arena) puede rellenar sin problemas.
La madera de los marcos de las ventanas y la puerta necesitan un tratamiento especial porque ahí la arcilla no puede pegarse: una tela de geotextil y una malla de metal fijada con grapas. La arcilla se agarra muy bien al metal.
Las dos capas de tablero OSB, entre las balas y el muro de adobe, dan una buena oportunidad de fijar enchufesl y cables eléctricos.
